A vice president of sales, Bud Di Maggio oversees all sales activities for the company.In additionto his work with Step Ahead Web Strategies, Bud also co-owns Internet marketing firm the SIMS Agency with partner Simon Ashton. Prior to opening the SIMS Agency in 2004, he served as Sales Manager for five years at Open Vision, an Internet marketing firm in Hilton Head. Bud also worked in the hospitality industry for 13 years at Hilton Hotel Corporation and Omni Hotels inroles that included hotel management, sales and marketing, preparing him to work with many of his current clients, such as Myrtle Beach National, Charming Inns, the Francis Marion Hotel and the Berkley Hotel.
Bud holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial management and marketing Clemson University. A native of California, but raised in upstate New York, he now lives West of the Ashley in Charleston with his wife and their two children. In his free time, Bud enjoys playing golf, and volunteering with the Rotary Club of Charleston and Blessed Sacrament Church where he is a member.
